Jörg Hegemann was born in 1966 and was inspired by boogie-woogie legends like Albert Ammons and Meade Lux Lewis. Thanks to his dedication and talent, he has been able to tour all over Europe, Russia, and the USA for the past 30 years! In 2009, his incredible skills earned him the prestigious “German Boogie-Woogie Award Pinetop.”

In the video, Jörg is playing an amazing boogie-woogie piece while the orchestra watches in awe. They can’t believe their eyes—or ears! Jörg definitely knows his way around a piano, and it’s clear why he’s considered a master of the style.

On the other hand, Stefan Ulbricht was born in February 1982 and discovered his love for music when he was just five years old. He started with guitar lessons, but when he turned 14, he switched to the piano. It didn’t take long before he completely fell in love with boogie-woogie music and everything about it.

Check out the video below of Stefan showing off his skills in a cozy local pub. It’s easy to see why he’s become such a popular boogie-woogie pianist—his fingers fly across the keys, and the crowd loves it!
