On March 3, 1964, she released a song called “Ringo, I Love You” under the name Bonnie Jo Mason. The title was a tribute to The Beatles’ drummer, Ringo Starr, and the song came out right in the middle of Beatlemania! Later, in 1996, Cher returned to The Beatles’ music, releasing a heartfelt cover of “The Long and Winding Road” for a special compilation album called All Together Now: Beatles Songs by Superstars.
